Too many people struggle alone while their lives crumble in the grip of addiction. Addictions and dependencies are rampant in Canadian society. 100,000+ people in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) have a moderate to severe gambling problem (William and Volberg, 2013); 18% of young adults (18-24) are smokers (Canadian Tobacco, Alcohol, and Drugs Survey, 2013); Between 4 and 5 million Canadians engage in high-risk drinking (Health Canada, 2013).
A CAP Release Group helps people break free from life-controlling habits and dependencies through an eight-week course, community support, and one-on-one coaching sessions. CAP Release Groups provide a safe, confidential place for people to seek help alongside the support of others who understand what they are going through.
CAP Release Groups are currently in the Pilot phase. If your church is interested in offering this service, please contact our team firstname.lastname@example.org or 289-684-9181
