Will you give today and break the chains of debt?
Personal debt in Canada is one of the most severe issues our nation's people are facing. Canadian households now owe $171 for every $100 of disposable income, the most indebted of any Group of Seven nation.
Members of your local community are forced to choose between basic human necessities due to lack of financial freedom. Today, they may decide to go without a meal or two. Tomorrow, they may need to put off washing their clothes at the laundromat for another day or two in order to pay their hydro bill. Unfortunately, many even contemplate suicide as a way of escaping their financial reality.
CAP was created to step in, give support, and provide long-lasting relief for those burdened with debt.
Over 800 people give regularly to CAP and we have seen so many households celebrate becoming debt free.
With your financial support, we could reach more families, eliminate debts and educate Canadians on how to avoid becoming swallowed up by debt.
Spending of funds is confined to [board/charity] approved programs and projects. Each contribution directed toward an approved program or project will be used as restricted with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the [board/charity], the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed.
CAP is changing the lives of individuals and families, improving the overall well-being of the communities it serves in Canada. I'm proud to be a monthly Life Changer and Major Donor."
