Financial hardship was never meant to be faced alone.

When a neighbour is overwhelmed by debt, unemployment, or unexpected circumstances, the community has a role to play.

Every day, people across Canada find themselves overwhelmed by debt. Illness, job loss, relationship breakdown, and unexpected hardship can leave families struggling to find a way forward.

Join a movement to help provide free debt help to Canadians who need hope stability, and a fresh start.

Every day, Canadians quietly face financial struggles they cannot overcome alone.

Behind every debt number is a person.

A parent choosing between groceries and bills.

A senior wondering how they will make ends meet.

A family carrying a burden they were never meant to carry alone.

In 2025, Equifax’s Q4 2025 report shows Canadian mortgage debt increased by $50.26 billion year over year, and non-mortgage debt increased by $30.7 billion.

This is where the church can stand to bring change, because

it takes a village to restore hope.

Your neighbour needs you.

You don't have to be a financial expert. You can take part in many different ways. You might organise a community meal, mark a birthday, take on a personal challenge, or invite your church to raise funds together.

Whatever form your fundraiser takes, your generosity will help someone receive practical support, wise guidance, and the opportunity to build a more secure financial future.
